About
My Name is Aimee North
I am a proud mother of two wonderful children and have a diverse background that includes training as chef and gaining extensive experience in the sales industry over the years. I struggled with my confidence and became someone I didn't like. However, after the arrival of my children, I found myself in a much better mindset and was inspired to make positive changes in my life. During this transformative time, I discovered the practice of Pilates, which provided me a precious opportunity to carve out an hour for myself to exercise gently without putting excessive strain on my body I found this calm and restorative approach to fitness to be truly amazing, as it allowed me to reconnect with my physical self in a nurturing way. Motivated by my newfound passion, I decided to pursue training as a Pilates Practitioner. I now offer engaging classes at St. Giles Church in Ickenham and St. Andrew's Church in Roxbourne, where participants can experience the benefits of this practice in a welcoming environment. In to my community classes, I am also an instructor with GLL , where I teach Pilates at Highgrove Pool and Leisure Centre. In my classes, I incorporate a variety of tools such as Pilates rings, balls, resistance bands and weights, all designed to enhance the overall experience for my participants. My primary focus is on helping individuals improve their flexibility, core engagement, coordination, concentration and breathing, while also fostering a sense of self-confidence and well-being. As participants continue to advance in their Pilates practice, they can look forward to noticeable improvements in their posture and a significant reduction in stress levels, making their journey both rewarding and fulfilling.
